So I made a Faerie Night Light and I got the idea from the internet of course, and decided to try it. I think it turned out pretty cute! If you'd like to make one here is how I did it, with links to the silhouettes I used.
I took a simple glass jar or cannister and cut out two fairy silhouettes. I used two because I thought it would be cool to have one showing in the front and have the other reflected onto the wall behind it. HERE and HERE are a links to the silhouettes I used, but of course you can find your own if you like.
I then used a clear glass glue (could probably use super glue) and glued them to the inside of the jar.

I then used matte mod podge to wrap white tissue paper around the jar. If I would have known you'd be able to see the wrinkles later I would have been more careful. So try not to get any wrinkles/tears when doing this as they will be visible later even with glitter.

Once that dried I added glossy mod podge to the tissue paper and sprinkled it with white (to look like crystals) and iridescent (for sparkle) glitters. I added the white larger glitter first, and once it dried I glossy mod podged over it to hold it in place. Once that all dried I then added the iridescent glitter on top of that. I may end up mod podging over it again to seal it in place.

Once everything was dry I pulled out all of my silk flowers and tried quite a few until I found a combination that looked good. I used hot glue to secure them to the glass top. On mine I used Ivy as a base and then I pulled roses and rose leaves off of the others and used those to fill in the holes and add flowers where I wanted them. I left a little extra ivy dangling down the side as well.

Here you can see how full I made the flowers on the top.

Here it is all done! I used a battery operated candle (from the target dollar section) to light it, but you could use any LED lights you have lying around.

I hope this was hepful! If you have any questions feel free to ask.
